Kahibah NSW 2290
Kahibah is a suburb of the City of Lake Macquarie in New South Wales just nine kilometres from central Newcastle. Its name is derived from the Aboriginal word “Ky-yee-bah” which means a place for games. The local Awabakal Aboriginal people had camps around Glenrock Lagoon which lies adjacent to Kahibah and can be accessed just off Burwood Road, Kahibah NSW 2290.
